@TemmieOrSmth99 My only guess is that Toby hadn't finished the script back when C1 released, so maybe he thought he would make Catti more relevant than what we got, the talk sprites being a leftover from that initial script,which is a shame

@Peasantroyal1 @KYRA_RISING No, the news of SEGA almost ending the franchise back in the 2010s made people consider the timeline where somehow Sonic becomes a Nintendo property, and the many things that would lead to that (because SEGA as a company sucks overall)

@Kirwithdot Thing is, she has missed most of the dark world adventures (which are the longer parts of the game), even if she has relevance in the light world, it's like sidelining Susie for no reason when she's one of the most important characters in the game
