"We've been through so much through these four years... You were the coach I needed" ๐ฅน
Alex Karaban sits down for a unique coach-player interview with Dan Hurley to discuss his time at UConn culminating with one final visit to the #MFinalFour ๐๏ธ

@braden_burcham_ The takes by media all week thinking Illinois was better were hilarious. We were told this team was different from Nov and different from number one offense in 2024. Same result.
WILD stat from ESPN Research ..
Illinois' fewest points in a game over the last three seasons:
52 points: 2024 Elite Eight vs. UConn
61 points: Nov. 28, 2025 vs. UConn
62 points: 2026 Final Four vs. UConn
"I went and looked at some of the complainers. It was remarkable how many are Duke fans. Duke, you blew it! Own it!"
@colincowherd says the Dan Hurley/ref incident is completely overblown
@Jimmy2Lips I get it, people hate teams that win. People hate Hurley because heโs animated. Does he need to chill sometimes, absolutely. But people making a big deal of this is the biggest cope Iโve ever seen.
So whatโs the next thing Duke fans want to complain about? First they wanted a technical on Mali, then on Coach. Maybe a T on Silas for grabbing the ball after the refs blew the whistle to review the clock?
Seth Greenberg: "I talked to [Roger Ayers]... He said, 'What are you talking about?' He literally didn't know what I was talking about. He said, 'Nothing happened'... That was social media trying to create something out of nothing because of Dan Hurley's 'allegedly' reputation."
@Jimmy2Lips He was leaning in listening to Ayers. Was there contact, maybe? You have one camera angle. Ayers came up to him, Hurley didnโt approach him. If he head butted someone, donโt you think there would be some type of reaction by Ayers, atleast yelling/pointing get back to the bench.
This is what dreams are made of ๐คฏ

Idk if this Dan or Luke, but the offensive sets are a thing of beauty. Sometimes they donโt get noticed when we arenโt making the baskets. Prepping for this offense in under 48 hours is nearly impossible. Biggest advantage heading into todayโs game.
UConn used 3 straight down screens to cook Michigan State
The 1st two curls trained the defender โ by the third screen, he was already going under to cut off the curl.
Ball faded instead. Open 3. Danny Hurley going crazy on the sideline.
Repetition as a disguised weapon!
@dan_ray7 Give me jones over vaaks, playing the castle role is what this team is missing. But I donโt see DH recruiting within the conference. Not his style.
