New: The Loudoun County student who has been videotaping and photographing 40+ students under bathroom stalls as they use the bathroom at school is transgender, multiple sources told me.

🚨WATCH: Sources tell me that Loudoun County Public Schools knew about a student recording naked boys underneath school bathroom stalls a lot sooner than they’re letting on.

“It's heartbreaking. It's heartbreaking,” said Kristina, a mother of five LCPS students.

Kristina has two boys who attend Freedom High School.

She told 7News she learned more about what was going on from WJLA’s reporting Monday afternoon than from school officials.

“I read it's been going on for three years,” said Kristina. “I did not know until just now that the school knew about it. If that's the case, that's really bad. That's the school protecting the wrong party in this case.”

The school principal sent two emails to parents. One last week, and one at the end of April.

However, the emails omitted key details from 7News’s reporting, including the fact that there may be dozens of victims.

They also failed to mention how long the recordings had been taking place.

This morning I spoke about the tragic death of Stephanie Minter that was a direct result of Fairfax County’s sanctuary city policies.

Virginians deserve to be safe in their neighborhoods, but when the government will not deport illegal immigrants who have been convicted of violent crimes or work with federal law enforcement agencies to remove dangerous criminals from our streets it is the innocent citizens who are left to pay the price for their inaction.

On Halloween 2023, Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman announced that there was a string of overdoses involving students who attended the same high school in Sterling, Virginia.

Altogether, 11 Park View High School students overdosed within an eight-week period, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. Many of the overdoses involved fentanyl. Although the overdoses were non-fatal, many of the students were unconscious and experienced cardiac arrest and could have died without fast medical care, according to the LCSO.

@7NewsDC was the first to show how Loudoun County Public Schools knew about the overdoses for weeks and didn’t tell parents about the string of student overdoses so that parents and students could be aware of the danger.
