The World Games is another step forward for disc golf on the international stage. We’re proud to support the effort with help on the live production with two of our team members as key parts of the broadcast team. Coverage can be seen on the WG app.

Here’s the official Sunday reporting, which adds to YLE’s tv broadcast (595k) with DGN stream and YLE app numbers.
We work to license our stream in the US, but it’s certainly been an effort that has borne fruit much easier in Europe. Looking forward to building on this one.
Disc Golf Network's live coverage of the World Championships received over 1.3 MILLION views on Sunday! 📈
This combined viewership, between the DGN and Yle broadcasts in Finland, sets a new viewership RECORD.
What a week in Finland. Proud of Jussi’s team, the PDGA, our DGN / DGPT crew and the support of the cities of Tampere and Nokia. Amazing to see the ratings for Saturday’s broadcast hit nearly 600k live viewers on YLE distribution of our DGN stream, 2nd best for the week:
One delayed flight turned into a 24 hour stay in Chicago. Still excited to get to Finland tomorrow for what promises to be a special week for pro disc golf!
Headed to New Orleans on the way to Portland for the NWDGC! Stoked to be headed to the evolution of the event I founded in 2019 (Portland Open), which has now been awarded Pro Worlds in 2027. We’ve got a 3-event run that we hope will be one of the best in the sport’s history!
The Europe swing is just around the corner! Between PDGA Majors, DGPT events, and DGPT Q-Series, we've got a lot of points up for grabs 👀 Swipe to see the points structure for DGPT Europe!
DGPT Europe is a subset of the larger Tour and maintains its own points standings, which awards European Tour Cards at the end of the season and qualifies players for the European Q-Series Finale
Big moment in today’s final round by Gannon. Crazy weather day, but proud of the team for getting staying flexible to get in a full FPO and 1/2 MPO round to finish things up in front of a great KCWO crowd.
Did we just become the Raptor brothers of disc golf? YUP.
This isn’t just a collab — it’s the Catalina Wine Mixer of discs. Prestige. Worldwide. Karate in the garage sold separately. Available now at https://t.co/iDTxtZpBHR
@disc7542 @MA4DiscGolf The DGPT Championship is the season-long contest that culminates in an end-of-the-year Finale. Players qualify for the playoffs via World Point Standings, advance to the Championship through two rounds of playoffs. The winner takes home the year’s largest purse.
@disc7542 @MA4DiscGolf It was established in 1982 when there was not a professional tour and remains a stand-alone Championship, like all golf “Majors” that players need to qualify for. Once qualified, they compete starting on equal footing, all at even parr.
@MA4DiscGolf In 2022, the creation of the Champions Cup paired with the European Open running every year helped launch us into the “modern” era with 4 consistent Major Championships. While there will be small changes, it seems like we’re pretty set to go from here.
@MA4DiscGolf The European Open was established in 2006, and is the “third” Major, but it was every other year until 2022. Other events have carried the PDGA “Major” stays, but none more than six times at the Japan Open which hasn’t been run since 2014.
