9 days out. For so long the finish line has felt like some mystical event happening very far into the future so it’s pretty crazy to comprehend that it is now only single digit days away.
This last year has been a mad one. A classic bit of type 2 fun with a generous sprinkle of type 3. What a time to be alive.
Hope you’ve had a good day out there troops. Donations to the fundraiser continue to sky rocket. Big up to everyone supporting🫡

Yes boys & girls. Another day closer. Wanted to open up the last day of this project to anyone & everyone who has been watching and supporting. Come and run the last marathon, the last half, 10km, 5km, 1km. Whatever you fancy.
We'll be starting from the shell garage in Ghezala, finish at the most northern tip of Africa, and then trading 1s & 2s on the tarmac for 1s & 2s on the dance floor.
We've booked a hotel on the nearby town of bizerte between the 6th-9th of April and have a party organised for the last day running on the 7th. If you want to come and be a part of it with us just email [email protected] with a photo of your passport and flight/travel confirmation and we will sort your accommodation for free as a thank you for everyone's immense support. First come, first served & limited spaces.
Plenty of other hotels super close by though so if you still want to come for the finish and the party, feel free to book your own place (no need to email) Everyone is welcome!
What idiot at @RoyalMail thinks a safe place is a bin on bin collection day with no red card through the door is a good idea. Too lazy to walk to a neighbours house?!
Absolute mong.

Final 4 weeks. What a crazy adventure this has been so far. Been getting it from all angles for nearly a year straight. If I’ve learnt anything it’s that it would be foolish of me to expect this last stretch to be plain sailing, but we will be finishing strong either way.
Trainers laced, tarmac smashed, nose sniffing out a daiquiri on a Tunisian beach. Grateful for the opportunity to throw the kitchen sink at life. Till the end🫡

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being invited to visit the Sahrawi refugee camp. Through our charity fundraiser we are supporting @sandblastarts who run educational and cultural programmes within the camp so it was great to see the impact of this along with other development projects.
For those that don’t know much about the sahrawis I would absolutely encourage you to check out @sandblastarts for more information on what is happening here. It is astonishing how little media coverage this gets. Over 100,000 people live in this refugee camp that has existed for over 47 years!
Everyone we met yesterday was extremely hospitable and welcoming. I managed to speak to lots of different people working in different departments within the camps, from farmers working on innovative solutions to growing food in the Sahara desert, to volunteers working in healthcare delivering exceptional care with very limited facilities, to sports ministers doing everything possible to engage young people in sport.
It was one of the most inspiring days of the mission and I’m hopeful that with your help we can have a positive impact here during project africa & beyond. Would be amazing to see peace & prosperity for everyone involved.
I’m excited to announce I’m also going to be taking on an ambassador role to get hands on in supporting the Sahara marathon which takes place here every year (open to tourists) so stay tuned for more information on how you can get involved in that in the coming months but in the mean time please take a look at @sandblastarts page for more information and if you are able to donate to our charity fundraiser then that is massively appreciated too (link in bio)

@krespeakman Full grown adults in the comments section going on like they are. Absolutely clueless opinions as well.
Scares me these people are allowed to vote.
The House of Commons is such an embarrassment to the UK.
Fully grown adults acting like little gimpy children but wasting all of the money us mugs earn.
