7 silly little habits that can keep you happy and in love through all of life’s ups and downs ❤️
1. Touch always. Whether it’s a hand on the leg or cuddling on the sofa, be touching in some way
2. Week night walks. You’re tired, but squeeze in a quick 20 min walk around your neighborhood together first and see how much more connected you feel
3. Kissing every single day. Even if you’re not in the mood, affection keeps you connected and the spark alive.
4. A 6 second kiss when you get home. 6 seconds is the time it takes for your brain to start releasing oxytocin - the connection chemical. Make sure you do this every time you see each other after being apart !
5. Staying in contact during the day - send each other little updates about things you’ve seen, weird stuff you saw people do, anything! It brings you into each other’s days even if you weren’t physically there
6. No phone date nights - so crucial.
7. Go to bed at the same time. It’s bizarre to us that some couples go to bed at different times! We love snuggling up and talking before we fall asleep.❤️
