@LindenmuthWendi I really dont know. I'm having trouble getting excited about much of anything right now. But I know I can turn that around at some point.
@LindenmuthWendi Complimenting a stranger, a friend, or family us something I try to do every day. Today though, I only left the house to take my pup for a walk and did not meet anyone. So I complemented someone on the news for doing something good. They did not hear me, but they smiled.
This blows my mind. I recently lost my beautiful wife to heart failure. I thought I'd be the one to go first. The strange thing is I have been writing a book for sometime about a man who loses his wife and struggles with the reality of it all. Not sure I can keep working on it.
@LindenmuthWendi I think that is true. The more active you keep your mind, I have to believe it helps. I read a lot on line, a complete newspaper, and my own writing every day.
@LindenmuthWendi I think that's true to a certain extent, and not the same for everyone. If you grew up working your butt off, you come to appreciate everything more.
@LindenmuthWendi I dont know for sure. I'm afraid if I answer, i may be chastised, but if i dont, I'm afraid many will consider me a coward / fraidy-cat.
