@Charlie09274926 @Shariinthesky @LouiseMensch@AdamKinzinger I have the same argument when people complain that public union employees have a better retirement system (defined benefits v 401k) and I ask why shouldn’t we raise the standard up and let all retirees get the better option instead of tearing down the better one.
@OscarEnjoylife@krassenstein Actually Putin is looking to drive the wedge between Americans as far as it will go- and if it results in Trump somehow getting back into power then all the better since he knows how to manipulate him.
@allenanalysis Dems should make the case to the American people that high gas prices are a direct result of the same folks involved with 911 and now in bed with the GOP.
@andreagail_k@WalshFreedom I know that unions have a down side that must be regulated but the breaking of labor’s power was a significant part of this.
@EdKrassen Unfortunately, it seems we have created a lucrative market (social media and media in general) that has learned generating anger creates more views/clicks & rewards extremism. I pray daily to St. Jude to heal our national divide and invite folks from all faiths to do the same.
@krassenstein I think the outrage is that instead of creating a new story they are changing an established tale — I heard zero outrage about the fact that Frozen featured strong women — it is the retro-editing of our past that seems to annoy folks.
@MedianPolitics@JomboyMedia The call itself looked bad (but not horribly bad) - the player quietly complained and since he didn’t show up the ump, the ump should have let it go and not eject him. That ejection just seems weak.
@ACTBrigitte So disrespectful—you can see how intently focused they are and the only thing I can imagine they’d be focused on prior to their match is thinking how much they hate America, and some of them are even putting their hands over their hearts, obviously shielding them from the anthem.
@remax281@kylegriffin1 Yep and then those dems changed over to the Republican Party when Kennedy and LBJ pushed civil rights. You probably know that but would rather try to score cheap political points with the uninformed.
@CournanJane@krassenstein In my area the main reason given for lock downs was to “flatten the curve” so hospitals were not overloaded - including people sickened with regular flu. Seems like it helped on that front at least.
@romanhistory1 Also born on this day, Steven the Mediocre….for some reason his legacy has been lost to history and he’s been largely forgotten however.
