@itzjustdubz@milsim020 While the actual story on a base level is kind of mid, the execution and witty banter of everyone is very high IQ and well done. Just because it doesn’t have the serious melodramatic tone of a RDR game, doesn’t mean it’s not also well written for what it’s trying to achieve
@itzjustdubz@milsim020 Given the fact that I played through all of GTA 5 when I was around that age and appreciate its writing much more now then I did then, I’d say that’s incredibly false. You have to be a relatively sharp individual to pick up on all of its satire and witty dialogue
@whosejuugo But like I said, I just think the sheer amount of resources and money that would go into making it, to make a game not even better, but on par with the quality of RDR2 would be insurmountable and likely take years. I’d rather R* visit other titles as of now personally
@whosejuugo That’s actually a great idea, and would kind of make sense as the world of the WWW is kind of dying in the time period after the events of RDR1, and it could be like a send off to the genre with a more technologically advanced world/weapons but still being a western
@TheKobraKid44@GTAVI_Countdown None of those things really prevent a sequel from happening. There’s like so many different routes they could take a possible sequel, but I think the remakes are fine as of now, Rockstar has so many different IP’s they can pull from
@oisi67737@spumdonor@WriteToRebel Haven’t heard of it but that’s one film, I’m sure you can find a few others here and there, but they aren’t represented to the degree other racially based gangs are in media. Maybe they don’t want to glorify them, but they are rarely even shown as antagonists in crime based media
@gta6noticia GTA is the type of game that can also start getting little bit into “problematic” territory if it’s gets too realistic, unlike a game like Red Dead which has morality systems attached to it. GTA must remain slightly absurd for the general public to not get too freaked out
@bham_901 Especially since the game is so big, and not something normal people who touch grass could just finish in a few days. I’m sure spoilers will be EVERYWHERE for us normal folks 😂
@spumdonor@WriteToRebel They seem to play a bigger role irl crime/prison systems then they do in film and TV, which is ironic, as ppl always claim the entertainment industry is so woke, and portraying Neo Nazi criminal groups in any form would seem like something they’d portray more often if so lol
@spumdonor@WriteToRebel I really can’t think of a major modern crime TV, Movie, or video game crime franchise that utilizes Neo Nazis as any form of antagonists or protagonists in a criminal/drug setting, (not politically charged films like AHX), fill me in if I’m wrong though 🤷🏾♂️
@spumdonor@WriteToRebel This is true to an extent (people often exaggerate the degree of which to fit their political leanings), but nothing about BB felt forced or unrealistic when they decided to add in the NN antagonists. Walt is the final villain and they were meant to be mostly throwaway antagonist
