@peptidicos
Another great day of amazing lectures at EUVEN Training School!
From specimen handling and venom collection, to clinical aspects of snakebite and toxin evolution. Thank you to our wonderful lecturers @EivindUndheim@fgncaliskan Paul Rowley @DaborResiere @anaturalist @evolriffs
Listening to @BReumont lecture on transcriptomics and genomics during the 3rd day of @EUVENAction Introductory Venomics Training School.
He took some time to acknowledge and teach students about Rosalind Franklin’s overlooked contributions to solving DNA structure. Bravo! 👏
2022 EUVEN Introductory Venomics Training School is in full swing! Among five expert lecturers today are Maria Ikonomopoulou, @GAnderluh, Giulia Zancolli, @wasp_venom, and Helena Safavi-Hemami.

@tasic_ljubica@LatinXChem @peptidicos Hi, and thank you!. To answer your question. Some ants produce venom for defense against predators, pathogens, and even other ants. Some others produce venom for prey immobilization and feeding. There are some similarities with other insects venoms but more with bees and wasps.
Hello @LatinXChem! Look at my work “Combining MoS2 and reduced graphene oxide at liquid-liquid interfaces: from nanocomposites to heterostructures”. Feel free to ask questions!
