Anthony Davidson: "I’ve looked at this so many times and I can’t work out why he gets a penalty. For me, he slows down sufficiently well. We’ve got this marker board on the left-hand side that stipulates the 80km /h speed limit. I don’t see that [speeding]. Let’s have a look at the exit. Obviously knew he was under time pressure to get out in that race with Antonelli. Again, for me, it sounds like he releases the pit lane button on the line itself."
"This guy knows what he’s doing when it comes to white lines and when to press the button. Maybe there was just an error when he was a bit too close to the line on the actual speed of the car and they were just pinged by that. Who knows."
"Strange that it only happened that one time. I don’t have enough data here and I can only go by the sound of when he’s pressing that button. For me, it looked totally fine on the way in, and on the way out."

The Hungaroring has honoured F1 drivers, including Sir Lewis Hamilton, by naming each one of the corners of the track after them, in honour of their achievements at the circuit.
Lewis Hamilton, Nigel Mansell and Jean Alesi were invited to leave to leave their handprints, which will be cast in concrete and permanently installed in the run-off area of the circuit.

Hemos tenido casi nueve años para empezar a escribirte una carta de despedida, y la hemos dejado para el último día. ¿Cómo se supone que vamos a despedirnos de un piloto que empezó a correr con nosotros cuando solo tenía 11 años y ahora se marcha con 20 años, campeón del mundo de Moto3 y en dirección a MotoGP?
Eres el ejemplo perfecto del trabajo de este equipo, desde la base hasta el Mundial de MotoGP. Te hemos visto crecer, desde esas carreras en el Campeonato de España de 85GP cuando eras un enano, hasta tocar el cielo en Japón en 2024, batiendo récords que llevarán tu nombre por años. El camino ha sido largo, pero vaya si lo hemos aprovechado.
Has sido protagonista de una generación irrepetible. Vaya ojo tuvo quien juntó a Izan Guevara, Dani Holgado, Iván Ortolá y David Alonso en el mismo equipo. Era 2020 y ya habías sido campeón de España, pero ese año conseguimos juntos la European Talent Cup. Y un año después, la Rookies Cup. Para triunfar en Moto3 hubo que esperar a 2024. Y aunque 2025, y luego 2026, empezó con curvas en el camino, un piloto como tú supo domarlas y convertirlas en nuevos éxitos como la victoria en Assen (¡en Assen!).
Y, ojo, que esto es una despedida, pero todavía nos quedan retos por conseguir y unas cuantas líneas de nuestra historia juntos por escribir. Once carreras más, once regalos, once oportunidades de volver a vibrar contigo antes de que llames a la puerta de la categoría reina y te conozca ya todo el mundo. Los que te conocemos desde pequeño, literalmente media vida, te echaremos de menos, pero seguiremos emocionándonos con tus carreras allá donde vayas.
