I celebrate the life of God in me. I rejoice because God has given me eternal life. I rejoice over the Name of Jesus; the Name above all names. Today, I yield my vocal organs to be filled with words of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for His mighty works in my life. Amen.
We have finalized the school arrangements for Emmanuella and Jason Ngaha. They will resume in SS3 and SS2 respectively.

This message is for just ONE person.
There is a special calling on your life. Exploring that calling will take you around the world and it will change your life. However, for you to find that calling and express it, you have to find GOD first. That calling is buried in GOD.
Find GOD first.
Don't Quit Too Soon.
Many dreams don't die because they were impossible.
They die because somebody became tired of waiting.
Success is rarely instant.
It is usually built quietly, one decision, one habit, one disciplined day at a time.
Before you quit, ask yourself:
What if I'm closer than I think?
As you sleep tonight, remember that focus creates power.
Think about a magnifying glass.
Scattered sunlight produces warmth.
Focused sunlight can produce fire.
Your attention works similarly.
Scattered attention produces weak results.
Focused attention produces powerful results.
FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS.
Good night and dream big.🫂😊
Work Harder on Yourself
Don't only work hard at your job.
Work hard on yourself.
Improve your knowledge. Develop your skills. Strengthen your discipline. Build your character. Learn how to communicate. Learn how to manage people and resources.
Your greatest investment may be the investment you make in yourself.

But inside me, I understood the lesson.
Years earlier, I thought they were deciding my future.
They were not.
They were simply playing their part in redirecting me towards it.
Then came January 6, 2020.
I had just resumed from the Christmas and New Year holiday when I was greeted with the news of my disengagement from the bank.
It was painful.
But right there in my manager’s office, I knelt down and thanked God for the years I had spent in the bank—and for the next chapter of my life.
I didn't know exactly what that next chapter would look like.
But within the following months, something remarkable happened.
Our family yoghurt business grew exponentially during the COVID period. Within months, what we were spending monthly on expenses was about three times the salary I had been earning at the bank.
Again, what initially looked like rejection had pushed me into another chapter of my life.
That is why I have learned not to treat rejection as the final verdict over my life.
Rejection can hurt.
It can embarrass you.
It can make you cry.
Cry if you need to—but don’t stop there.
You cannot see around the corner. You don’t know what God may be preparing ahead of you.
When one door closes, don’t spend your life sitting in front of it.
Get up.
Pray.
Learn.
Improve yourself.
Keep moving.
One day, you may look back at the rejection that once made you cry and say:
“Thank God that door didn’t open.”
Because rejection is not always destruction.
Sometimes, rejection is redirection.
And just around the corner may be the beautiful life you couldn’t see from where you were standing.
Rejection can make you cry sha. But sometimes, just around the corner from rejection—at the very next turn—is a beautiful life waiting for you.
Let me share four moments in my life when rejection hurt me deeply but eventually led me somewhere better.
The first was a relationship.
Before I got married, I was in a beautiful relationship with a lady. We had gone as far as attending the intending couples’ class in church. As far as I was concerned, we were heading towards marriage the following February, 2003.
Then suddenly, on September 29, 2002, she told me she was no longer interested.
I was devastated.
I went to see her mother, hoping perhaps she could help me understand what had happened. But when I told her, she said something that broke me even more.
She said, “Ah, thank God! I have been praying about this relationship. Whatever was covering my daughter’s eyes has finally been removed.”
Chai! 😂
I left that house feeling completely rejected and battered.
On my way home, I prayed a strange prayer:
“God, because this has happened to me, I must be successful. Not through any illegal means, but I must make something meaningful out of my life.”
And then I thanked God for the relationship.
At that moment, I couldn’t see around the corner.
I didn’t know that somewhere in my future was the woman who would eventually become my wife and the beautiful family we would build together.
Sometimes, the person walking away from you is not the end of your story.
The second rejection was education.
In the early 1990s, I desperately wanted to study Fine Art at Yaba College of Technology, even if it was through a part-time programme.
In those days, Yaba Tech was the place for artists. Almost every young artist wanted to go there.
I approached Mr. Okufi from my church, St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Ebute Metta. He was a former Rector of Yaba Tech, and he kindly gave me a note to take to the Head of Department of Fine Art.
I went there full of hope.
The first day, I sat there from about 9 a.m. until around 4 p.m. The man came out around 11 a.m., acknowledged my presence, and that was basically it.
I returned the second day.
Then the third day.
On that third day, I felt so rejected that I told myself:
“Never again. I am not coming back here. I will go to a university, and I will make sure I come out with the best grade I possibly can.”
That rejection became fuel.
Eventually, I gained admission to the University of Benin to study Fine and Applied Arts, majoring in Graphic Design.
Years later, I graduated with First-Class Honours, having also studied on a Nigerian Breweries scholarship.
Imagine if everything had worked exactly the way I wanted it to at Yaba Tech. Perhaps that university experience and scholarship would never have happened.
Sometimes, the door that refuses to open is forcing you to discover another door.
Then came rejection in my career.
When I wanted to enter the advertising industry, I applied to several top advertising agencies:
Rosabel Advertising.
Front Page Advertising.
STB-McCann.
SO&U.
The answer kept coming back:
No.
One rejection particularly stayed with me. I was told they wouldn’t employ me because the person I had worked under wasn’t considered “exposed” enough.
Again, another door closed.
But life moved on.
After working in a smaller agency, I eventually got a job in a bank.
And guess what?
Some of those same advertising agencies that had rejected my applications began coming to the bank to pitch for our business.
One day, representatives from one of those agencies were sitting across from me in a meeting room. I had prepared everything for the meeting, and we were waiting for my boss to arrive.
So I jokingly said:
“Ah, shey you people rejected me when I applied to your agency?”
They were shocked.
“When? You applied to us? And we didn’t employ you?”
I laughed.
“Yes! And today, I thank God you didn’t employ me.”
We all laughed together. There was no bitterness whatsoever.
