There is increased misuse of agrochemicals by farmers. Picture shows tomatoes sprayed with fungicides. Research conducted has found out there is increasing misuse of agrochemicals by farmers in Uganda on many crops. Many small scale farmers spray different pesticides & fungicides

while the European Food Safety Authority identified it as an endocrine disrupter as it is linked to several health concerns. Reproductive and endocrine structures cause decreased fertility. Many farmers claim Mancozeb helps in increasing the shelflife of tomatoes to prevent them
