Ben Efland broke the 3,200-meter school record at Dash for Doobie in Winston-Salem, running 9:49.74 to break the mark of 9:52.27 set in 2018 by Caleb Kirchhoff.
Congratulations to the boys’ XC team on winning the MAC XC conference championship. The boys cross country team won their 2nd straight MAC Championship and 9th title in 14 years, continuing an impressive run of finishing 1st or 2nd place 14 of the past 15 years. Congrats guys!!

*Josh was 13th in 16:15, breaking the school record of 16:22 and Junior class school record
*Jude was 14th in 16:16, also going under the old school record & setting the Senior class record
The boys XC team (John Capps, Ben Efland, Jude Rutherford, Josh Koos, Will Campbell, Tyler McClure, Price Fee, Jackson Neubauer) was 10th of 96 schools in the Alexander/Asics Inv. John set the Fr. school record (16:22.8) & Ben set the Jr. school record (16:29.7).
The girls cross country team was 5th of 22 schools at the Warrior Inv. at Pawley's Island, SC, as Annie Miller won her 2nd straight invitational, set the school record of 17:53, and 6 girls ran personal or season bests.
