@Jenn_the_Judge @_proplaygames They never post pay rates. They pay the same for all judge roles except HJ and appeals. They state the hours you will work in the acceptance letter and change the hours to be 4-6 hours longer at the event. They never send you a copy of anything you sign. Avoid at all costs.

All this to say, it’s a fine line. Read the documents, talk to your local judges, learn about the history of the rules and the philosophy of its usage. You might gain a better understanding of the rules and how they are implemented.

A thing people don’t grasp when resolving spells and triggers is culture, intent, and patterns of behavior. Stating “ok” for many players in the USA is a sign of resolving a spell. However, it doesn’t mean the same thing in many other cultures.
