✍️: I have signed HB2 making it official — in Alabama, we’re calling it the Gulf of America!
It’s got a nice ring to it. And it just makes sense. 🇺🇸 #alpolitics
🇺🇸Today🇺🇸
Representative David Standridge has qualified to run for re-election to the Alabama House of Representatives District 34.
“It has been an honor and privilege to serve as Representative. I ask for your prayers and support.” David
Today I voted in favor of the Gulf of America Act. Alabama borders this vital body of water, and it plays a critical role in our economy, energy, and national security. It’s fitting that its name reflects our nation's deep connection and sovereignty. #gulfofamerica
This week, HB247–The Gulf of America Act, sponsored by @JudgeStandridge, passed out of committee in the State House! This bold move would officially rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America in Alabama—making our state the first following President @realDonaldTrump's EO.
Since his inauguration, @POTUS hasn’t stopped winning for the American people.
Enjoyed hearing this new song my friend and Phenix City, Alabama native @IAmGarrettMiles released to celebrate🇺🇸
Thank you to Representatives Craig Lipscomb and David Standridge for joining us last evening for our Farm to Table Dinner in Heflin! We appreciate your support of Alabama's farmers and rural communities! Read more about the event at https://t.co/L9z9ncTfgx
America doesn’t need to become California.
We need common sense policies:
✔️Secure our border
✔️Create stable prices
✔️Actually achieve peace through strength
While I’m sorry that Etowah and Lawrence counties will not be in the Fourth District, my door is always open to the people of both counties. I welcome Blount County back into the district and welcome the western portion of Lauderdale as a new part of the Fourth District.
