Unbelievably frustrating to see so many Americans on here saying “the World Cup has me hooked, I can’t wait to start watching the Premier League” when there is surely a football club with a nice stadium & decent fans within an hour of their front door (with exceptions of course)
🇺🇸 AMAZING! Japan just did a whole FIREWORKS SHOW celebrating America’s birthday today, as it’s now July 4 in Tokyo
This is what a REAL ally looks like.
Unlike most of our European “allies”
God bless America, and God bless Japan! 🇺🇸🤝🇯🇵
I'm in the US for two weeks now and I have not tipped once
You give a tip as an appreciation of exceptional service. It's a voluntary bonus I choose to give because the experience was good
But in the US it has become a tax that as a customer I am forced to pay
I did not hire this waiter. I am not his employer. Their wage is NOT my responsibility
Yet in America I'm made to feel like a criminal if I don't hand over 25% for a horrible coffee they prepared
In Europe the waiter is paid a real wage, so I never have to tip, and I never do
I'm not going to behave differently in the US
