Large gaps in the defence lead to the whole attack tracking back once the initial press is bypassed. These guys aren’t robots they can’t do this constantly.

If a succinct philosophy is not established u get what we have which is players from a mix of different philosophies.

Every manager we bring in underestimates the physicality of the league on and off the ball. And everyone wonders why certain styles of play don’t work in this league.
