@SyntaxError_007 @Staizman@_iam_KeV @TenHagBall_ Half of the time rashford iniates a press he turns round to see the team is either dropping back or half committing to the press making it disorganised and leaving gaps. Clearly a coaching issue.
@Staizman @SyntaxError_007 @_iam_KeV @TenHagBall_ Will have less time on the ball more often than not forcing a turnover due to pressure being applied more quickly. Large gaps in the defence lead to the whole attack tracking back once the initial press is bypassed. These guys aren’t robots they can’t do this constantly.
@Staizman @SyntaxError_007 @_iam_KeV @TenHagBall_ Rashford Bruno garnacho all walk most times as it is physically impossible to cover the whole of the left flank repeatedly especially when they aren’t full backs. Space control is key if there is a small gap between defence midfield and attack ur opponents will Pt 2
@lxvish1x @SyntaxError_007 @_iam_KeV @TenHagBall_ Ur right it is equally important. I was just trying to emphasise the point of the lack of mobility and physicality across the players currently and the players we buy. In an extremely physical league we seem to lack any substantial athleticism in midfield and defence
@Chosen_____A1@redview1975@SwedishRumble He is truly lost. If he worked on creating space for his attackers through coordinated off the ball runs, patterns of play would be established. Just like saka white and odegard . No patterns means no consistency leading to more spontaneous actions on the ball
@Chosen_____A1@redview1975@SwedishRumble They’re not coached too. Eth persistence with verticality to incorporate this so called United dna leads to a haphazard mix of possession and long ball. He is more focused on pressing and creating chances from turnovers an unsustainable approach
@lxvish1x @SyntaxError_007 @_iam_KeV @TenHagBall_ At the end, a club philosophy is much more important. Some current players may fit in the philosophy and some may have to be brought in. If a succinct philosophy is not established u get what we have which is players from a mix of different philosophies.
@lxvish1x @SyntaxError_007 @_iam_KeV @TenHagBall_ Look at the profile of players we have bought. How many of them are quick and physical? Every manager we bring in underestimates the physicality of the league on and off the ball. And everyone wonders why certain styles of play don’t work in this league.
@redview1975@Chosen_____A1@SwedishRumble Nah these guys would do well in a possession based side. Eth abandoned this for transition based football. Essentially wasting a £150million worth of talent. The manager is confused and so are the players and you see this every week when we play there is no consistency
