Back at my usual Komeya! I normally order rice balls or rice porridge, but tried the pilaf for the first time. Everything was delicious, especially the daily dishes: gyoza, island scallions, red sea cucumber, and silver salmon. An amazing meal!

Across the road from Tsurumi Ryokuchi Field, I visited the udon restaurant Mensho Umeya. It’s counter-only. I added chicken tempura to chilled zaru udon. The noodles were wonderfully smooth. Thank you for the meal!
