I came to the Nova Music Festival site on the Gaza border where 378 young Israelis were savagely murdered and 44 were taken hostage by demon possessed Hamas monsters three years ago today. So painful to be here but it was so important. #October7th2023#NeverForget#NeverAgain
ISAIAS TORNADOES: This is a high end setup for tornadoes in the Florida Panhandle Friday evening, night, and early Saturday. We come to expect tornadoes right of the center of a landfalling hurricane, but this setup is kinda wild.
โข Extremely high instability (CAPE) much higher than typical in this setup
โข High deep layer shear
โข Decent amount of DCAPE ~700 J/kg -- good to help create a RFD but not high enough to choke things off
โข Very fast storm motions... any tornadoes will move at highway speeds
Radar and sounding of the atmosphere below from late Friday night in the eastern bands of Isaias.
Three years later, we remember the lives lost and the devastation caused by the October 7 attack against Israel. We stand with Israel, pray for its people, and mourn with all those who continue to carry the pain of that day.
Today, we reflect on three years since the horrific terror attacks on the Nation of Israel.
Maria & I continue to stand in unwavering solidarity with the Jewish community in TN & across the globe, & invite Tennesseans to join us in prayer.
@RickSmol Thank you for sharing ! ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ Israel really is the safest place on earth it belongs to the Jewish nation God gave them that land, I donโt like whatโs happening in the USA so I pray for the peace of Jeruslaem๐โ๏ธ
October 7, 2023โa day forever etched into the heart of Israel.
Today, we remember the 1,200+ lives brutally taken, the families forever changed, and the nation that still carries the scars.
We remember. We mourn. We stand with Israel ๐ฎ๐ฑ
โ ๏ธ Jesus warned that pestilences would be one of the signs surrounding the last days before His return. ๐๐ฝ
โAnd there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilencesโฆโ โ Luke 21:11
The Greek word translated โpestilencesโ is loimos โ a word used for plague, deadly disease, and epidemic outbreaks.
Our generation has already seen a sobering example.
COVID-19 emerged and swept across the world, shutting down nations, overwhelming hospitals, disrupting economies, and leaving millions dead.
For many people, it was the first time they realized just how quickly a pestilence could move across the entire planet.
And Jesus warned us about this nearly 2,000 years ago.
Now we continue hearing about new pathogens, drug-resistant infections, strange outbreaks, quarantines, and diseases resurfacing that many thought belonged to history.
This does not mean every outbreak is the final plague. But it does mean the Church should be paying attention.
Jesus said the signs would come like birth pains โ increasing in intensity and frequency as the end approaches.
The signs are not meant to make us panic. They are meant to wake us up.
โNow when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.โ โ Luke 21:28 - #birthpangs #pestilences #plagues #pandemics - Ricky Scaparo
"God Won't Leave You There" by @AGLotz and @Rachel_RuthW serves as an uplifting reminder that God is with you in life's struggles and that "all things work together for good to those who love [Him]" (Romans 8:28). Order a copy today: https://t.co/1jhrI2KInN
Should Christians engage in the political process? Thereโs a lot at stake in the coming midterm elections. Many issues that are considered political are actually moral issues. @WillyRice is exactly rightโthroughout American history, pastors have had a strong and influential voice at key moments in our political history, and they need to raise their voices now!
I urge Christians to do their research, to pray, and to vote. The choice is clear. The two parties have opposite stands on almost every issue. One party supports open bordersโallowing millions of unvetted, undocumented people to enter this country. Do you? Their party leadership supports men in womenโs bathrooms and sports, gender transitioning for children, allowing parental rights to be ignored, abortion, and more. Do you? The other party wants our nation to have legal immigration, opposes allowing men in womenโs sports, and defends the sanctity of life.
Who you choose to vote for has never been more importantโget out and vote. As Christians, we are to be salt and light in an ever-decaying, dark world. https://t.co/sIZnj1yf7G
My father @BillyGraham preached in Manchester 65 years ago, but this was my first trip to this beautiful city. Even with all of its history, Manchester is vibrantโthere are so many young people and over 90 languages spoken here. Tonight, 10,000+ people came out to @TheCoopLive to hear the Gospel. I told the crowd that we each have a date with deathโweโre all going to have to stand before God. We praise Him that hundreds responded to the invitation to repent and receive Jesus Christ by faith. Thanks to all of the churches, pastors, and volunteers who made this night possible.
I urge Evangelical Christians around the world to keep praying without ceasing for the Lord to save and completely heal Neriyah Leiter who was terribly wounded by a Palestinian terrorist. He is the son of @yechielleiter, Israelโs Ambassador to the U.S. and a friend of mine.
As the sun sets over the Chapel by the Lake at @Prestonwood and October begins, weโre reminded again of the faithfulness and goodness of our God.
A new month is here, and Sunday is just ahead. What a joy to gather together as the church, worship our Savior, and open His Word.
Weโre looking forward to seeing you this Sunday at Prestonwood!
If you died today, do you know you would go to Heaven?

You donโt have to live with a question mark over your eternity. You can know that youโre savedโand the Bible tells you how.
ย
In this short video, I explain how you can have that assurance and lead you in a prayer to put your faith in Jesus Christ.
ย
Take a few minutes to watch, and share it with someone who needs this hope.

What could be more important than knowing where youโll spend eternity?
"When people live in obedience to the commands and precepts of Scripture, God's blessings follow. When disobedience and disdain dominate a culture, the consequences are bitter." โ@Franklin_Graham
How do we overcome the devil and his tactics? In the book of Revelation, we are introduced to a group of believers who are able to do just that: โAnd they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to dieโ (Revelation 12:11 NLT).
"They have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb." The next time the devil tempts you to think that youโre not worthy to approach God, hereโs what I advise: Agree with him wholeheartedly. Say, โYouโre right. Iโm not worthy to approach God. I never was worthy to approach God. I never will be worthy to approach God. My access to Godโs presence is not based on my worthiness; it is based on what Christ did for me on the cross. He is worthyโand because of Him I am accepted and can come boldly to God.โ
Sometimes we get into the mentality as Christians that if we are doing well spiritually, then we can approach God in prayer. If, say, we get up in the morning, read four chapters from the Bible, give thanks for our meals, and share our faith with someone, then we think we can approach God. But if the next day we sleep in and donโt read the Bible, if we forget to say grace over our meals and donโt share our faith, then we think weโre not worthy to approach Him.
But thatโs not the case. Those things are certainly important. But your access to God is based on Christ, not on your spiritual performance. If youโve done well, then great. Approach God. But if youโve sinned, then approach God and say, โLord, I have sinned. This is why I need the blood of the Lamb.โ
The devil will always try to keep you away from the cross. But the Holy Spirit will always bring you to it.
ย
What might make you feel unworthy to approach God?
This is a terrifying story.
A flydubai flight traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv was forced to make an emergency landing after what appears to have been a terrorist attack in the cockpit. According to reports, the co-pilot allegedly attacked and stabbed the captain and attempted to take control of the aircraft.
At one point, the aircraft plunged thousands of feet in a matter of seconds. Passengers and crew reportedly helped subdue the attacker, while other pilots who happened to be aboard helped take control of the aircraft. The plane ultimately landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, according to Reuters.
Thank God for this outcome. It could have ended very differentlyโand tragically.
As we approach the anniversary of October 7, when approximately 1,200 people were murdered in Israel, this is a sobering reminder of the evil that exists in our world.
Letโs pray that any further attempts to harm innocent people will be thwarted and that God will protect us from those who seek to do harm.
Scripture says:
โThe Lord will preserve you from all evil;
He will preserve your soul.
The Lord will preserve your going out and your coming in
from this time forth, and even forevermore.โ
โPsalm 121:7โ8
