@peekaboo_jen I was at work, small office. IT guys brought a TV round and we watched in horror as they burned and fell. Husband working at Buck House at the time had to tell US tourists and hope that an attack would not target London. Scary.

@peekaboo_jen A really heartfelt post. To those of you who are lucky to still have their fathers with them I hope you all celebrate in an amazing way. I lost my dad to health issues many years ago but his birthday is in a few days so will raise a glass then.

@Deadliftgrl Parts of Scotland have had rain, parts of England have had rain! We have not had more than the one lightest shower. The watering can is getting used as much as possible. Bumper crop of tomatoes though! Farmers not doing so well

Hi all, I’m beginning to look forward to a weather forecast that says some showers. Yet another hot sunny day in the 30’s with nights around 18 in my part of North Worcestershire. For those who say it’s not that hot, just add in the humidity. 🌞

@ScotGovUSA @Deadliftgrl To you all ‘up top’. I am as English as can be but have always thought of Scotland as a completely separate country and it was only by James 6/1 that you became stuck with us. The glue is releasing, albeit slowly, but please remember we are not all bad!

@Deadliftgrl Not really relevant to Thomas Paine but I grew up in the county of Buckinghamshire quite close to the village of Penn. Penn was Quaker and my ancestors were Baptist so also minority religion. They rebelled against Charles 2 by not paying ship tax, Bucks being an inland county
