Exchanges Must Take Stronger Actions Against Predatory Market Makers Exploiting Retail Traders

The examples I’m sharing below are ones I’ve personally profited from, and I want to make it clear that I have no ulterior motive here. My sole aim is to ensure that retail traders are not exploited by predatory market participants. The adjustments I’m suggesting would actually impact my bottom line, as I personally benefit from these situations

Exchanges like @Bybit_Official, @binance, @Gate_io, @okx, @bitgetglobal , @MEXC_Official must implement harsher regulations on “market makers” who hold large delta positions on the pairs they provide liquidity for. These market makers are often given free tokens or allowed to purchase them at steep discounts

The issue arises when these tokens are used to manipulate the markets in their favor

Since they control a significant portion of the float they can artificially influence prices, create misleading liquidity, and mislead retail traders. This manipulation distorts the natural market dynamics, often leading to volatile price movements that benefit the manipulators while harming almost everyone else

If the general public knew the extent of the perks these “firms” receive privately, they would likely reconsider their decision to invest or trade these assets

It’s time for exchanges to adopt stricter rules for liquidity providers, simple as that. This could result in more thorough due diligence prior to listings and stricter regulations after listings

Market makers who cheat should face consequences, such as having their funds redistributed to all funding participants. The recent events surrounding $AUCTION, $GPS, and dozens more are a perfect example of predatory behavior that brings no benefit to the ecosystem

It’s literally always the same culprits, yet only those so blatant that even the most oblivious notice the foul play are being held accountable and there is little transparency on long term consequences

This system only serves to hurt retail investors, with a small group of sharp traders and insiders reaping the rewards

Otherwise, if nothing is done, we will be forced to continue to endure this ongoing omanipulation, leaving traders in impacted markets entirely at the mercy of these bad actors

The more visibility this post has the higher the likelihood of change. I sure as shit won’t be able to change anything by myself

I hit most paid group at the time

Then I fell upon Chroma

Realized they were different and were actually trying to teach people

Didn’t touch them, became friends with follis and all this years later I am a contributor on there

I am sure it’s not the only paid group that’s honest, but it’s the only one I can vouch for

Now that crime is legal I can brag about this publically

In 2021 I hit @CryptoGodJohn paid group for 6 figs by hunting the stops of their positions

I joined every single paid group on ct, mainly by using mirrors, and started tracking every single trade made on each. I quickly realized they were taking advantage of their users so I happily took advantage of them

I would use orderbook data and compare how each signal had an impact in the books

I had an automated Excel, it was fucking art with telegram notifs for every trade I should take

When I found guys who were heavily copytraded, I started wash trading and spoofing like a mfer to bring prices down and since they all used hard stop losses I would make bank on the slippage hit.

It wasn’t particularly hard since they would pick tickers with no liquidity to pump their own entries :)

shoutout @eliz883 who was by far the worst user of that predatory technique

I also made sure to hit you Eliz, in fact you were hit so often you started closing your positions 2 minutes after posting because I made your grift unprofitable past the pump and dump of your posts lol

It was the best on FTX because FTX OTC would buy my entire stack of some illiquid trash for like 4% from spot when it was literally empty and I had nuked it 20%+

I ate real good thanks to your grifting, made more than 100k on your ass alone

I nuked you personally more than anybody else because I particularly hated how predatory you were to your users

Would be a shame if someone perpetuated what I began in 21 in your group again

I am an old man now, I retired from the shananigans
