I entered a community chat looking for one message and somehow ended up scrolling through 500 messages.
âAh. These people are active o,â I thought.
â„Messages everywhere.
â„Someone asking a question.
â„Three people replying.
â„Someone dropping a meme.
â„Another person talking about the project.
â„Before you finish reading one message, five more have entered.
I won't lie, at first I was impressed.
Then I tried to find something a new member would actually need.
And I got lost.
â„Where do you start?
â„What exactly does the project do?
â„Where are the important announcements?
â„Who do you talk to when you have a problem?
I kept scrolling.
Nothing.
Well, not nothing. There was A LOT happening.
But somehow, I wasn't finding anything.
And that's when it clicked for me.
This community wasn't dead.
It was too alive.
Everything was moving, but nothing was staying.
â„Useful information would come up, get buried, and disappear.
â„People were answering the same questions again and again.
â„And you can't convince me that's what a healthy community looks like.
Because what's the point of having 500 messages a day if a new member still has to ask,
âSo, what exactly are we doing here?â
â„If your members have to ask the same question every week...
â„If important information keeps getting buried...
â„If newcomers need an admin to personally guide them through everything...
Then your problem might not be engagement.
It might be the system behind the engagement.
October already. đ
I won't lie, I haven't achieved everything I set out to do this year.
But I still believe I can.
And maybe that's enough for now. To know that there's still time, and that not everything has to happen exactly when you planned it.
If you're also feeling like you haven't done enough this year, abeg, don't count yourself out yet.
We still have time.
October, let's see what we can make of you. đ€
I was going through a mutual's post a few weeks ago, and one thing he said stayed with me.
It got me thinking about how much of our personality is actually ours.
âą Our accent.
âą The things we believe.
âą The things we aspire to.
âą Our sense of humour.
âą Our taste.
âą Even what we consider a successful life.
A lot of these things were already around us before we were old enough to question them.
So at what point do we stop simply picking things up from the people around us and start deciding who we actually want to be?
That's what I want us to unpack on this Space.
Not in a "đđđŁđ đźđ€đȘđ§đšđđĄđ"motivational way đ
No filter, Just real gist about how much of who we are was chosen, and how much was inherited.

What happens when the hype disappears?
I found something unusual about how Select designed its token economy, and it took me a while to understand why.
$SELECT isn't just sitting beside the projects launched on https://t.co/OyOXQBRQnC.
It's built into how those projects are meant to trade.
I traced the flow from a new launch to $SELECT
Here's what I found:
I tried the 1 minute predictions on $XRP and $SOL on @Wahoopredict yesterday.
And ngl, I think I like this one better đ
1 minute is just enough time to make your call without having to sit there forever waiting for the result.
You predict.
You watch.
You know.
Fast and immediate.
