Solo Witness DONE yes! I’ve been eager to solo challenge it for months now. I’ve seen more content creators who have done it which led me to attempt and finish it. Plus I have nothing to do in Destiny atm and I really enjoyed doing it! #destiny2
Soloed Templar! I barely started more solo raids I can possibly do. I gotta do both Atheon and RON run before final update is when they nerf certain builds. #destiny2

#WeWantDestiny3 It’s not too late Sony. We know cost is gonna be massive, but it’s one of the risk that is worth taking. We don’t mind if it takes years or longer, we want to know if next Destiny game is a thing. The last thing we need is the IP we loved for 12 years gets buried and be left forgotten yes?
@A_dmg04@Skarrow9@ChrisLeOtaku I’ve been meaning to ask. I recently noticed “Avant-Garde” title from Calls to Arms event we earned along with being gilded has disappeared since Renegades. Will that title reappear on our account on June 9th?
Amazing update, but sad to know it will be the last one… hopefully we can change their mind so let’s make the most of it when the update goes live yes?
This Week in Destiny:
⚔️ Crucible, Trials of Osiris, and Iron Banner updates from the PvP Strike Team
💀 Pantheon preview
🏰 Raid and Dungeon updates
🎭 Expanded Universal Ornaments on Exotic Armor
⚪ Bright Engram Focusing and Eververse updates

@A_dmg04 Thx! I was worried about not all will have exotic catalysts in a final update when it was worded “many catalysts” instead of All in a final update blog
@Destiny2Team I recently noticed Call to Arms event title Avant Garde is missing. Heavy Metal went missing as well until today weekly reset popped back up on my account. Will Avant Garde title return at the end of the Destiny 2 service update?

I am grateful for me committing and no lifing Destiny for 12 years. Unfortunately Destiny depression is only getting worse each day pass by. I met many great friends and watching Destiny Content Creators/Streamers. I still have CODs and Persona 5 X games that I enjoyed playing regularly even now, but nothing like Destiny yes… #destiny2
I finished reading it, honestly very anti climatic. I say that because the game has not been doing well during Edge of Fate and post Renegades, 2 most recent expansions. It’s a sudden post of them by saying “Hey ummm… we’re done with Destiny 2”. It would’ve been a different story after Final Shape and the Destiny community would’ve mostly let it slide. D2 is basically 9 years old, so it’s really disappointing to see how that ended. Who knows if we’re going to get D3 in the future yes?

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.
