If you're unaware, the "Battle" at Wounded Knee was when the US Army gunned down Lakota men, women, & children after confiscating their privately-owned firearms
Newsom: Perhaps the president could deploy the National Guard in every corner of Mississippi. Murder rate is out of control there. And the governor may want to make that phone call.
If the president is sincere about the issue of crime and violence, there's no question in my mind that he will likely be sending the troops into Louisiana and Mississippi to address the unconscionable wave of violence that continues to plague those states.
BREAKING: In an insane moment, crime is so bad in Washington DC, National Guard troops deployed there by Trump are busy... picking up garbage, at the cost of $1 million per day to taxpayers.
A disgraceful misuse of our military.
It is hilarious that Gavin Newsom is simply holding up a mirror to the republican party and they are losing their shit.
The trolling is giving me life.
Marc Maron on Donald Trump: “I have to be honest with you, Trump is probably the most horrible human that ever lived in any capacity doing anything. Not a political statement. Completely observational.”
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu:
“Under the Trump administration, groceries are less affordable, housing is harder to build, cures for cancer are farther away, and good news on our economy has been as hard to find as the Epstein list.”
Gavin Newsom: “Wake up America. You will not have a country if he rigs this election. These guys are not screwing around. The most corrupt president in history. He is wrecking this country, wrecking the economy. He is a lawless president. Wake up America.”
We’re suspending the jobs report so you don’t see how bad the numbers are, auditing the Smithsonian to match Trump’s politics, fighting over gerrymandering the map, and deploying the military into cities. This isn’t governance anymore. It’s authoritarianism in plain sight.
We're fairly close to being able to very effectively treat cancer with mRNA, and this will be a huge setback
To be blunt: people you care about will die of cancer because of this decision
