@DRDisabilityReb Young carers aren't eligible for carers allowance. 15 year olds are expected to do the work of a carer, with none of the recognition.

The Nimbus system is bad. The old system wasn't great. Disabled people and their carers deserve Decent as a bare minimum standard.

There are only around 8 registered venues advertising the scheme rn, but hey, we don't have that many big arts venues... There are a lot of independant places that happily acccept it and mention it on their website, they just aren't on the Hynt pages yet

Wales has its own version. It's called Hynt, is free and absolutely does not require a doctors letter unless you don't have one of the many qualifying letters below

It is free to apply + for the card and all cards allow the holder to request any of the reasonable accomodations available under the EA. The card doesn't mark what type of disabled you are, it trusts that applicants will be fair

Got mixed up halfway through, realised, did a Cry about it and flung both bags into a pile for 'later'. Bags are identical 🙃
