@Ed_Miliband@CBItweets You must be joking. Wrecking the British economy due to high electricity prices and putting energy supplies at risk by building wind farms in the North Sea where we cannot defend them when the nead arises.
@Flying_Abi Enjoy all the great locations you will now be visiting as a result of your hard work and dedication.
Hopefully you find time to post some photos for your followers to enjoy.
@Puddleglim@TomTugendhat@Ed_Miliband Ensure we keep enough serviceable gas fired power stations as backup for when renewables don't produce.
Unfortunately CCGTs getting older & less reliable. Without investment they will not keep the lights on.
Gas will only be used when necessary but must be available to be used.
@Puddleglim@TomTugendhat@Ed_Miliband Already failed. Replaced reliable despatchable generation with unpredictable renewables and imports which are not guaranteed if other country has a shortage.
@sksanglia@sharrond62@SteveReedMP@EmmaforWycombe Not easy to solve as surface water drainage bulks up sewerage volumes massively with heavy rainfall.
Mixing happens in individual property boundaries & probably at several points on one property - hard to fix there.
Only option appears to be big retention chambers on STW inlets.
@sksanglia@sharrond62 Not on more modern houses. They either have soakaways on their own land or separate surface water drainage systems into rivers etc.
Only older houses mix surface water and sewerage.
@paullewismoney You can put a clause in a will in E&W to state that the will still stands in the event of marriage or civil partnership between a couple living together who write their wills in a similar manner to how they would if they were married.
