@AmericanAir. Someone at the gate gave us $12 food vouchers, but before we could find a place to use them we are called back. We are boarding a new plane with a different flight crew. Take #3: with great fear and trepidation we are attempting to fly to Little Rock one more time!

@AmericanAir. We’ve now landed back in Chicago for the THIRD time that day. We’ve already missed the wedding rehearsal dinner we were traveling 1,300 miles to attend. We also hadn’t eaten anything besides cookies and pretzels since our 6:59am original flight.

@AmericanAir Take #2: After a wait. Same crew. Different plane. Trying again. This time it’s snowing in Chicago. Need to refuel & de-ice. Up in the air. We’re on our way to Little Rock! Oops…that was premature. Pilot on PA says we have the exact issue. Back to Chicago AGAIN!

My grandfather fought in WWII. He never spoke about it, so we didnt know much about his time in the service, but based on the patches on his uniform, we think he did something in intel.
