14 years ago today, we lost our dear friend Maureen. Maureen and her husband founded this foundation to honor Julia’s memory when she lost her battle with a rare kidney disorder. In this video, Maureen's sisters explain why she would be immensely proud of JBF today.

Norei was born prematurely with plagiocephaly, a common condition in babies resulting in an abnormal head shape. Norei required a helmet that wasn't covered by insurance, so Julia's Butterfly Foundation funded the custom-made helmet.

The holidays can be a tough time for families with a terminally/chronically ill child, both financially and emotionally. To help these families, we surprised 10 kids and their siblings with Christmas gifts! We selected the families through social workers at 3 different hospitals.
