Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico published an address to the nation on his social media.

Here are his key points:

- On July 1, I made my first public appearance, which infuriated the liberal opposition and their media.

- I would like to remind you that we are gradually putting Slovakia back on the right track.

- We want people to say at the end of this government's term that they are better off.

- The West is preaching "the only right opinion" about the war in Ukraine. They support the war to the last Ukrainian soldier.

- They cheerfully applaud the winner of the women's swimming race, who until a few months ago was a red-blooded 100-kilogram man.

- If you support them, then you can do anything. No one will know what you're doing in your country. Whether you are looting, destroying the opposition, or grossly violating human rights, you'll be allowed to do what you want.

- I could hardly believe what they did to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

- He was scorned because, as a sovereign politician, he decided to visit Ukraine, Russia, and China and make peace initiatives.

- If instead he tried to convince the Slavs to kill each other even more vigorously, perhaps, someone would nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize.

- In the spirit of our sovereign position, we prepared for the NATO summit in Washington, D.C., which was attended by Slovakia's defense minister and foreign minister.

- When agreeing on the text of the final declaration, I insisted that Ukraine's membership in NATO should be made possible only if all NATO members agree to it.

- I publicly state that Slovakia will not agree to Ukraine's membership in NATO.

- I understand Ukraine's wishes. It is a sovereign country, but Ukraine's membership in NATO means guaranteed World War III.

- Although, frankly, even without Ukraine's NATO membership, we're not too far away from it.
