"He thinks he's doing a bad job," Karoline Leavitt says when asked why President Trump fired Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. CQ Brown. Trump called him a "fine gentleman and an outstanding leader" in his post announcing his ouster.
Elections have consequences. The Supreme Court will be changed for a generation. I’ll never see a moderate court again in my lifetime. Alito and Thomas will step down and Trump will appoint 40 year old partisans to the bench. The damage he is about to inflict on our institutions the next 2 years will be irreparable.
@gayguycandleco Gridusky is always annoying, but this went waaaaay over the line.
Jeffrey (fap fap) Toobin still pops up every so often.
@cnn still reeks of Chris Licht.
@PrinceMarv13 🎤 Did you mean to reference the great Rakim with the “lint” comment on @dpshow
I’m a New Yorker, so when you said you’ve got plenty of lint for people who want to sue, all I could hear was “So I dig deeper, but still coming up with lint.”
CLASSIC!
Took me back.
@LeaveHeardAlone @DarkInfamy_ Winston Duke?
I don’t see it.
Maybe Yahya Abdul-Mateen (Black Manta from Aquaman) as Batman?
Duke could be Commissioner Gordon.
@DarkInfamy_ I’m hot for Reacher, but Jensen is PERFECT for Batman. That mouth under that mask? WHAAAAAT?!?!
I’d put a Bat Signal in my panties every night and twice on Sundays!😜
When Donald Trump complains that the prosecutors, the judge, and the jury have treated him unfairly, do not believe him. I’ve been in court every day of this historic criminal trial of a former President. I spent over a decade as a criminal prosecutor in Manhattan. Let me be clear: Donald Trump received a fair trial.
Over the past six weeks, I’ve endeavored to bring you detailed analysis of the evidence and arguments at this trial. My conclusion: the prosecution presented a compelling case with strong witnesses corroborated by documentary evidence. The defense had no competing theory of the case, nor did it effectively raise reasonable doubt. As a result, I correctly predicted that the jury would return a guilty verdict on @TheBeatWithAri on Tuesday and I correctly predicted that the jury’s verdict would be returned no later than this Friday on @KatiePhang’s YouTube special yesterday.
The bottom line is that Donald Trump lost fair and square. He lost because the prosecutors outlawyered the defense team and, more importantly, he lost because he is guilty.
Let’s remember here the jury acted with courage. Let’s not forget that justice was handed down. There will be a lot of spinning, but nothing can change the fact that he was found guilty on all 34 counts.
It’s stunning to me that the Republican party cannot muster the courage to find a new standard bearer.
