Seems silly to re-start a twitter account & then not use it. I suppose it’s because #filmtwitter angers me, so I like to keep my distance. Soooo many people... who think film was only invented 20 years ago & therefore presume that the most recent films must be the best.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot doesn’t get enough kudos. I didn’t think it was gonna be aces but I bought it for £3 when I came across it in Asda & this must be the 4th time I’ve watched it. The story is solid, plus Tina, Martin, Margot all bring their game. 👍
I hate to be a grump. But i’m annoyed with these articles telling us how brilliant S2 of Fleabag is; TV journos doling out patronising advice as though they just invented Phoebe, when she was a badass long before they took notice. Ref: Crashing, Broadchurch, Man Up. 🙌 #Fleabag
The problem with #murdermysteryandmyfamily being on in the daytime is that you have do a major catch-up on @BBCiPlayer. And, well, all those executions... it’s a bit stressful. 🙄
I’m going to have a good think about the scene in Christopher Robin where Christopher is carrying Pooh around the train station 😊 “why is that man in cage?” 🙌 oh man, that’s lovely...
You know those people who throw out random film based questions so they can count up their popularity points? I don’t like those... 🙄 let’s all just go away and think of some films we love. A better use of our time I think... much more fun. 🙃
Curious George, Paddington, Christopher Robin... they’re all fundamentally gentle & emotionally inspiring at the same time... and I’d much prefer to be at home, watching them, rather than at work... getting shouted at. 😣
Curious George is an excellent hangover cure. I say this not because I’m hungover but because I was hungover yesterday & knew it would do the trick... but then I watched murder docs instead. 🙄
Was on the tube sitting next to a group of women discussing Netflix’s real crime shows etc. One of the ladies review of Birdbox? “it was just like, here’s a film... and Sandra Bullock’s in it.” She was not wrong.
Rancid, just for Matthew Settle. The film was so uneventful I have completely forgotten it... everything, except how hot Mr Settle was in it. I regret nothing. 🙌
You know when you wake up with an odd idea or memory that’s just bubbled out of you subconscious? The other morning I woke up thinking about Ski Patrol. I suspect that it wouldn’t stand up now. 🤔
Finally worked out who played Ernest Hemingway in Midnight in Paris! Corey Stoll! And he was incredible... Can’t believe I never just imdb’d that. Twit. 🙄
