@doctor_oxford Completely agree, Rachel. Sometimes the well rehearsed history gives the second or third listener the vital info that was missed by the first listener. It is also often therapeutic to tell the story. Efficient IT is essential but never a replacement for f2f communication.
Vote YES!✅
We need to secure a strong mandate in the ballot for industrial action - every yes vote will get us closer to our goal of full pay restoration!
Post your ballot at your nearest post-box ASAP to ensure it arrives on time for the ballot closing on 8 June.
You spend millions every year so well paid MP's and Lord's can get subsidised alcohol at work.
There are 27 alcohol serving taxpayer subsidised bars and restaurants in the UK.
ALL of them in Westminster.
It's time to make it 0.
Like/RT if you agree.
Really worth doing this - if you send a letter to your MP it will include details of MRP polling extent to which their constituents prioritise assisted dying compared to other issues (it's low salience across the board)
You may like to sign this letter asking MPs not to bring back the so called "assisted dying" bill. This bill is very poorly drafted and it would change our society and health care service as we know it.

@bmj_latest@mancunianmedic “Many of us have experienced the frustration of waiting hours to be seen in emergency departments, but I suspect few would argue that this is because 63% of the doctors there are men”
Time is Finite. This article stopped me in my tracks today. Clinicians, please read. You are replaceable in work. But you are irreplaceable for those who love you.

@DHSCgovuk@wesstreeting@TheSun It’s simple, treat hospital doctors fairly, we work for a monopoly employer. Since 2008 average workers pay up 68%, consultants only 30%. Our comparator professions up 79%. We’re effectively working for more than a quarter of the year for free compared to 2008.
Our letter on Assisted Dying in the @ObserverUK today: "In some areas, there are no district nurses available overnight to support people at the end of life"
“Highly Quality Palliative Care for all”
That’s the constant political punchline but its not improving out here.
The reality is the infrastructure and staffing to provide the quality (not just quantity) is not up to the task. The issue is not new and continues everyday.
