I was also one of those babies. My parents were told I would be stillborn at birth, due to a problem with my heart, and I wasn’t. Then that I wouldn’t live long after birth. Drs put me on life support and then asked if they could turn it off and do an autopsy. After being removed from life support the drs were surprised I was still alive. They said I would have multiple medical complications and with the exception of a treatable heart condition I’m completely fine.

I understand your hurt but you did a great thing for those kids in the time you had them, even if it didn’t end how you hoped.

This is child exploitation and should be a priority over everything else. I doubt it will ever go away and the effort to combat it will be ongoing but maybe a new team will be more effective.
