I took a stranger’s portrait on the streets of Portland.

Meet Danielle.

She’s lived in Portland her whole life. When I asked what makes her happy, she said, “Seeing beautiful and happy people.” That answer felt so fitting because Danielle was one of the friendliest people I met that day, with the most beautiful smile.

Before I could even tell her that Jesus loves her, Danielle blessed and encouraged me as I was leaving. She reminded me how a little kindness can shine, even during a brief interaction with a stranger.

I took a stranger’s portrait on the streets of Portland.

Meet Kieran.

He was checking out a Lamborghini STO parked on the street when we started talking. Kieran is a thrifter, entrepreneur, and content creator who shares videos of his finds on Instagram.

He recently found an Arc’teryx jacket for just a couple of dollars and could resell it for $400–$500! He loves thrifting, making videos, and using social media to turn his passion into something bigger.

Kieran reminded me that opportunity can be hiding in the most unexpected places, you just have to recognize it.
