Today, the Governor General hosted me in Government House whereas we had our weekly audience,

We discussed the recent conflicts, and day to day government operations.

NATO representatives, civil servants, and the United States have warned the UK against cutting ties with the Solomon Islands, which would be a devastating blow to a lot of previous progress made between the two countries. The move is deemed way too excessive.

Former Foreign Secretary jagzop had stated:
"We need the Solomon Islands as much as they need us. Solomon Islands brings a lot of activity and contributions to us. This isn't progress at all, and it doesn't only affect the UK and the Solomon Islands. It affects all our allies."

The Solomon Islands is also a major non-member ally to NATO, and part of it is through relations with the UK which is a core member state.

The situation is far bigger than the current state of affairs in the Solomon Islands and will affect Anglo-Solomon relations down the line.

Former Commonwealth Minister of State E1DR0N had stated his concern about this matter:

"A lot of progress has been made to rebuild the Commonwealth with the Solomon Islands having played a big part in the revival progress. Why throw all this down the drain over a small matter?"

The UK had supported a motion to remove them from the Commonwealth, which consequently passed.

This is a significant loss to the Commonwealth, just after they've already lost Australia which is now pushing for more nations to pursue republicanism.

Today I met with the Thailand Prime Minister, we discussed our two nations well-being, a treaty which will be drafted soon. As well as in the future some economic agreement.

I look forward to developing a relationship between Solomon Islands and Thailand.

Today I met with the newly elected British Prime Minister, it was a pleasure catching up with a good friend and due to our good friendship we’ve decided to go further with a treaty.

I look forward to working with the United Kingdom in more aspects.

This evening I met with the regiment Commanding Officer @weaty16 discussing development issues for the regiment, as well as upcoming treaties.

He also updated me on the regiments status, whereas I am confident we have a strong Armed Forces.

Today I met with the Australian Delegation in Honiara, we had a meeting discussing the topics such as a treaty and in the near future an economic agreement.

I am confident Solomon Islands and Australia can build a relationship which benefits everyone.

Today, is the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom’s last day, I’d like to thank him for his help throughout these past terms,

He has provided dedicated service to the United Kingdom, as well as being there with the Solomon Islands when needed.

The Opposition have attempted to overthrow a working government, in the second week a government which were elected democratically.

It’s clear these intentions by the oppositions is undemocratic, and I’ll be working with my Deputy @MalcolmRoblox to prevent this.
