Deep down, everyone must know the only fair way to calculate council tax should be per eligible person over 18 residing in that area.

Everyone pays. The size or value of your house is completely irrelevant.

Four adults in a property? That’s four adults using council services, so 4 adults pay.

But @andyburnham and other leaders are too cowardly to do it this way. Punishing those who’ve done well is way easier and mark my words, will be the way they reform this.

@Mikethejourney1 It starts all with small gestures that signal work is not only taxed to pay for everything, but as a working person you get no break when it comes 2 leisure time. Not working is super rewarding - do nothing, get generous allowance and almost free access for leisure activities.
