There probably were some decent (misguided) protesters, but they picked the wrong protest and ultimately enabled (by their presence at Parliament) a lot of disgusting behaviour by other protesters/rioters.
“It’s clear that the sector and Government have work to do to achieve that. I’m focussed on the big picture of bringing emissions down overall, and less PKE is clearly a part of that,” - @teanau_tuiono

Where is the EU at #COP26?
Climate finance is not charity, it’s justice! Your leadership is missing- All eyes on you! You must #ShowUsTheMoney
Come on Merkel, @EmmanuelMacron and @vonderleyen! The world needs you now!
@BarackObama you can remind #COP26 that you promised $100b in #ClimateFinance when you and Biden were president and vice-president, as yet undelivered.
Here we are. Here are our names. Here are our photos. We are proud to stand up and support you. We did this ourselves, no one asked us to. We support vaccination for #covid19nz and 6535 NZ doctors want you to know. https://t.co/2WPqc4amrR
Improving legislation before it is passed is literally the point of select committee. It's not like you don't know this. You're insulting everyone's intelligence with these antics.
I, for one, am disappointed that my 10+ year campaign to talk about “people using bikes” instead of the loaded moniker “cyclist” has apparently not caught on at all. We’re all human. Don’t freak out bc someone uses a bike sometimes. Just make it safer.
Today after years of hard work from @JulieAnneGenter the Government is delivering on its election promise to work together with the Greens to tackle the climate crisis with a Clean Car Standard and other good measures.
Four generations of whānau whānui helping to settle a rather nervous boy into his first day at college. I asked if I could kiss him goodbye. His mates push him forward told him to never turn down a mama kiss 😭
I wish every anxious kid all the love this nervous week.
Me too. Wife sick, so I've taken today off work, taken S happily to kindy, changed T's poo nappy in supermarket carpark, now sitting in car with her at home as she sleeps.
Awesome to receive this email.

Subject: Why I Voted Greens
I was dead set on voting National this election. I watched the the new David Attenborough doc last night and decided a tick for Greens and a tick for yourself is a tick for something bigger than myself.
