It's ironic. With the amount of taxes we pay in Ireland, you'd think the country might have decent infrastructure. This is not the case. Ireland is one of the worst equipped countries for "extreme" weather. Roads melt in hot weather, things fall over in a storm, we have a standstill when there's snow or ice, and most comical, the roads and streets get flooded when there's heavy rainfall. On top of this, public transport is sub-standard, hospitals are overwhelmed, GPs are not taking on new patients, and we have a housing, energy, and inflation crisis.

The details around the alleged Galway rape case.
Two Jordanian asylum seekers are charged and have been in Ireland for 2 years.
Thank you to @griptmedia and @fatima_gunning for reporting on this.
@HeinzUK Marketed to appear healthy and free from artificial additives. But you won't throw the polyphosphates, sodium phosphates and the artificial flavouring in people's faces... No, you hide that in the fine print.
"Hypocrisy": In a heated exchange, @Ben_Scallan grills Children's Minister Norma Foley again a second time on the controversial book "What's the T?" by Juno Dawson after the Minister says she still hasn't read the book months later:
"I haven't read the book --"
"-- Why not?"
They take more money from fuel than it costs to produce it.
They could end the protest tomorrow by reducing the costs they unfairly place on you.

Mícheál deliberately conflates legal immigration, people coming here to work, with the very different issue of illegal immigration and the asylum system crisis in Ireland. That is clearly what Trump was referring to. Mícheál knows this, but chose not to acknowledge it, likely because it is politically uncomfortable.
It was stomach churning to watch Mícheál defend his buddy Keir Starmer and also present Ireland’s handling of illegal immigration as being under control. That simply does not reflect reality. He appears out of touch, and Trump is well aware of it.
Later, Trump spoke about St Patrick, showing a stronger grasp of the historical context and even acknowledging that he had been enslaved, something our own president has failed to clearly articulate.
It could have been worse but I find Mícheál awkward and embarrassed looking in these really important engagements. He has no authority and looks out of his depth.
@Niall_Boylan It was exactly that - stomach churning. If he believes his own words, he's totally incompetent. Otherwise, a sell-out to the Irish and European people, to their culture and heritage and to the future of Ireland and Europe! Not 1 reporter in the room to set the record straight :/
@griptmedia Yes, sometimes, Europe gets characterised wrongly... by people like you, @MichealMartinTD ! Literally no one I know personally is fundamentally against immigration, but what you're doing is flushing Europe down the drain, Ireland with it. You have ZERO perspective.

Analyzing driver nationality in road safety research is a standard practice for several functional reasons... identify jurisdictional knowledge gaps, such as unfamiliarity with local infrastructure or driving on the left. This data allows for the development of targeted, multilingual educational campaigns and informs international policy benchmarking to assess the compatibility of foreign licensing standards. Furthermore, it helps identify behavioral trends rooted in different training backgrounds and assists insurers in refining risk assessments based on statistical probability. And in terms of Ireland's recent surge in immigration, it's an obvious obligation that the government should burden itself with - even alone to document its multi-faceted impact.
