“It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment” - #CharlieKirk

So... he just declared civil war?
Also, you gotta love how Truth Social has My Pillow and ED treatment ads everywhere. It's like a scam/malware site. It's crazy for a President to be posting on there, it'd be like if Bill Clinton officially distributed his speeches on Limewire.
I like how they each have their own default pose, and the Bloc leader's is like an action figure... I wonder what accessories he comes with.
Anyways, advance polls open tomorrow, go out and vote!

#JimmyCarter has passed away. @gmtgames gave him a few shoutouts in Twilight Struggle Red Sea, but fans of the big JC are still waiting on Camp David, Operation Eagle Claw and election sims.
Twitter thinks Brian Lilley, Stockwell Day, Pierre Poilievre, and other right-wingers are for me. So obviously, I'm not for Twitter. Since #BlueskySocial is now public, I'm gonna start screaming into that void instead: https://t.co/GoBVwZe9ua
On November 14, 1960, 6-year-old #RubyBridges bravely walked into William Frantz Elementary School, becoming the first Black student to integrate the school in New Orleans, Louisiana. Surrounded by federal marshals, Ruby faced immense hostility, yet her courage and resilience made her a powerful symbol in the fight for racial equality.
Today, we honor Ruby Bridges’ strength and the incredible impact of her bravery, which helped pave the way for integration and justice in education. Her story reminds us that even the youngest among us can be powerful agents of change.

@oocsitcoms When the singing started in the opening credits.
I watched all four seasons of this... It sure was a long road getting from pitiful pilot to awful ending.
@SeanCarleton This is the first I've heard of this event... Murray... Murray Sinclair. Of all the people to accuse of that, he picks the Chief Commissioner of the TRC.

@PierrePoilievre My highschool had an Arabic singer do a song in 2011, long before anyone ever heard the word woke. It was a beautiful reflection and a call to end all wars, which is what Remembrance/Armistice Day began as. It's not a day of right-wing grifting by people who did nothing for vets.
@whstancil Or, hear me out, all the US and Canada has done over the past 15 years is go from a position where unemployment is higher but goods are more affordable to unemployment is low but essential goods (especially housing) are borderline unaffordable.
