And finally Day 3. Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP). Who hasn't heard of this place?
It is a renowned national park in Uganda, known for its diverse ecosystems, incredible wildlife, and breathtaking scenery.
It borders:
1. Kibale National Park (north)
2. Rwenzori Mountains National Park (east)
3. Virunga National Park (south), Democratic Republic of Congo
4. Lake Edward (west)
And it boasts an impressive array of wildlife, including: Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Hippos, Cape buffaloes, Chimpanzees, Giraffes, Antelopes (various species), over 600 bird species among others.
The park's diverse habitats include: Savannas, Forests, Wetlands, Lake shores (Lake Edward and Lake George) and Kazinga Channel (connecting the two lakes)
Some of it's tourist attractions include Game drives, Boat cruises (Kazinga Channel), Chimpanzee trekking (Kyambura Gorge), Birdwatching, Hiking (explore scenic trails and viewpoints), Cultural experiences (visit local communities).
On top of all this, it offers various accommodations, ranging from: Luxury lodges (e.g., Mweya Safari Lodge), Mid-range lodges (e.g., Bush Lodge), Budget-friendly options (e.g., campsites) and Community-run lodges (supporting local development).
There's no doubt, Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best places to visit in just Uganda but the whole world.

Finally on Day 2, I visited the Rwenzori Mountains National Park, located in the Rwenzori mountains. The park is located in Southwestern Uganda, and has Margherita peak, which is Africaโs third highest, for which it is famous.
The Rwenzori mountains National Park in southwestern Uganda, was gazetted in 1991, became UNESCO world heritage site in 1994 as well as a ramsaar site in 2008.
The Park also provides great opportunities to seeing nature at its finest. Its plant life diverges from dense tropical rain-forest, bamboo woodlands, montane cloud forests to high-altitude vegetation and the decor is correctly outstanding.
Beyond 4,500 meters, the snow and glaciers complement that special element to the astonishing views throughout this unspoiled mountain range.
This park is mostly famous for mountaineering, trekking, hiking and climbing excursions or safaris with or without summiting the Margherita.
What a fulfilling day it's been!
