#ENG2GOT Dracula shows an interesting view of the supernatural (vampires) versus religion (salvation, crucifix)

[Juliana Hart @Juliana__Hart]

#ENG2GOT it is interesting to see Mina and Lucy change throughout Dracula since they are such similar characters in the beginning

[Juliana Hart @Juliana__Hart]

#ENG2GOT any thoughts as to why Shelley chose to leave the Monster in Frankenstein unnamed?

[Juliana Hart @Juliana__Hart]

#ENG2GOT It's interesting to see female authors like Mary Shelley and Ann Radcliffe writing novels with such passive female characters

[Juliana Hart @Juliana__Hart]

Schedoni in The Italian is very similar to Ambrosio in The Monk #ENG2GOT

[Juliana Hart @Juliana__Hart]

#ENG2GOT I think The Italian was easier to read but The Monk was a much more interesting story

[Juliana Hart @Juliana__Hart]

#ENG2GOT The Monk has so many shocking twists that definitely challenge the social constructs and normalities of its time

[Juliana Hart @Juliana__Hart]

#ENG2GOT I haven't seen the show before but i'm looking forward to studying its gothic elements in class http://t.co/7F9OMBevng
