🚨Macron schooled Trump on leadership without ever needing to say his name: “We prefer respect over bullying. We prefer science over politicism. We prefer rule of law over brutality.”
This is what a normal leader sounds like. Anyone else miss having one?
I cannot tell you just how significant this speech is by Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.
Europe is in my view about to call Trump’s bluff and I really don’t think Americans understand just how catastrophically damaging this could be in terms of long term economic impact.
Europe has had enough, as have NATO allies. Trump is about to burn 75 years of close partnerships to satisfy his pathetic ego.
Buckle up folks, because I wouldn’t like to be carrying $38.5 trillion of debt right now. Do you know who supplies 75% of all America’s insulin right now? That would be Denmark 🇩🇰
In addition Novo Nordisk is the Danish manufacturer of Ozempic. The Danish Prime Minister says everything is on the table.

McGowan: We want things like health care and education and new roads and bridges… And we're going to spend 700 billion to buy an island that isn't for sale?
I know enough people in the current Federal Government and many in the Opposition that would despise trump and his idiotic and dangerous activities. It’s time to stop the appeasement and turn our backs on him or we become complicit in his crimes.
A pensioner from Greenland is laughing at Trump.
'He's out of his mind. He's losing his senses. He probably lost them a long time ago. It's a bit like a spoiled child who has grown old, and you think: "What can he do?" He thinks he can scare people. He can't scare the Greenlanders. We're not afraid. We'll fight to the end and never give up.'

Swedish finance minister Elisabeth Svantesson:
“I think it’s sad and totally absurd that we have an American president who’s blackmailing the rest of us, trying to get a piece of land or buy it through threats. It’s a new low
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future – a lesson that feels especially relevant today.
Change has never been easy. It takes persistence and determination, and requires all of us to speak out and stand up for what we believe in. As we honor Dr. King today, let’s draw strength from his example, and do our part to build on his legacy.
BREAKING: Mayor Zohran Mamdani rises to the moment by calling for ICE to be totally abolished because it's "terrorizing people" regardless of their immigration status and the law as written.
You can't reform a fascist paramilitary organization..
"I am in support of abolishing ICE and I'll tell you why," the New York City mayor said during an appearance on The View. "What we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist. We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law but instead what it's doing it's terrorizing people no matter their immigration status, no matter the facts of the law, no matter the facts of the case."
"And I'm tired of waking up every day and seeing a new image of someone being dragged out of a car, dragged out of their home, dragged out of their life," he continued. "What we need to see is humanity. And there is a way to care about immigration in this city and in this country with a sense of humanity. What we're seeing from ICE is not it and we have not seen that from them in a long, long time."
During the same segment, Mamdani tore into the fact that Trump's enforcers are wearing masks to conceal their identities.
"Masked agents. You know, I am trying to inspire amongst New Yorkers a sense of faith and belief in what government can do and it's very hard to do that when they look at masked agents and see them as another face of a similar government," said the mayor. "Because then they ask themselves: 'Am I supposed to trust or am I supposed to fear?'"
"And what we want is for New Yorkers to be able to look to government as a place to solve their problems not as a place that creates their problems," he added.
Life in America might be growing grimmer by the day thanks to Trump's disastrous domestic policies and fascist imperialism overseas, but Zohran Mamdani remains a genuine ray of hope in the darkness.
This is what it looks and sounds like when Americans elect a leader who actually prioritizes their needs over personal profit or the demands of special interests and corporations. Already, he has teamed up with New York Governor Kathy Hochul to announce universal childcare for two-year-olds in New York City. He also unveiled a $4 million proposal to build new high-quality bathrooms throughout the city. Progress is possible, it just requires vision and commitment.
In addition to materially improving the lives of his constituents, Mamdani is presenting a moral paradigm for leadership that stands in stark contrast to Trump's rank, immoral gangsterism. His call to abolish ICE is part of that moral framework. He's not saying that we can't have immigration law, he's saying that this organization, riddled as it is with undertrained, overweight MAGA fanatics with a thirst for blood can't be "fixed." It has to be torn down completely.
Please ❤️ and share to urge Democrats to follow Zohran's example!
Greenland politician Tillie Martinussen:
We don’t want American wealth. Their greed drives them to shoot or invade their friends.
Even with billions in oil and minerals beneath our land, we will not sell ourselves.
We know what happened to Indigenous people in Alaska and Native Americans. We refuse the same fate.
Here is ICE arresting an old American citizen. They handcuffed and arrested him infont of his 5 year old grandson, theyu paraded him outside in the winter weather with windchills as low as -34° Celsius barely dressed.
He had no criminal record, he was a citizen and they never presented a warrant. They eventually let him go after detaining him for a few hours.
Joy Behar on Donald Trump: “He’s eroded civil rights, he’s erasing history, he’s wrecking the economy, and he’s alienating us from our friends in NATO. And all because he’s not getting his award. That is what will get us into WWIII because his ego is involved”
The Trump administration is disgusting!
Yesterday, ICE raided a home on St. Paul’s East Side. Their target was ChongLy Scott Thao, an elderly Hmong American man.
He’s a U.S. citizen with no criminal record.
Armed ICE agents broke down the door without presenting a valid warrant, entered with guns drawn, and handcuffed him in front of his 5-year-old grandson, who was left crying and traumatized.
This happened in sub-zero conditions, with wind chills near -30°F. Thao was dragged outside wearing only shorts, a blanket, and Crocs and marched through the snow.
ICE then drove him around for nearly an hour, questioned and fingerprinted him, confirmed he was a citizen and not the person they were looking for… and dropped him back at home.
No apology. No explanation. No accountability.
Is this what you voted for?
This is Disgusting: ICE drags a half-naked old man into the snow, in single digit temperatures in St. Paul, MN, refusing to give him a coat.
The cruelty is the point.
🚨HOLY SMOKES: Danish MEP Anders Vistisen to Trump:
“Let me put this in words you might understand: Mr. President, fuck off.”
Europe is officially done pretending this is normal diplomacy.
I flew down to south Texas today to do my job - investigate why people are dying in ICE detention centers.
I was just illegally denied entry to Dilley Detention Center. Because they have something to hide.
