Only when diverse perspectives are included, respected, and valued can we start to get a full picture of the world: who we serve, what they need, and how to successfully meet people where they are.
Listen, learn, unlearn, know when to lead, and know when to let others lead.
Brene has a wonderful soul. I try to get all of my colleagues to read her work and now she's gone and done something so selfless for us. Teachers who don't know this woman, it's high time you did (plus she is absolutely hysterical). Thank you TUSD for sharing Dare to Lead.
What a great Saturday activity. TUSD student(s) who coded their Apollo 13 "Lost in Outer Space" movie for last year's TUSD Film Festival should definitely be a part of this day. Projects & Coding Workshop - Discovery Cube OC https://t.co/gELO76L2sz
I am simply heartbroken. So many firefighters act selflessly when they come to help that many people may not recognize their generosity may cost them the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you Chief Burchett and his family. You have my love, prayers, and hugs. https://t.co/ZHKRbla9aK
So excited to see this. All I'm missing is my sweet granddaughter who I used to go "chasing the moon" with. Big Bear sometimes feels like millions of miles away.
#frecklevirtualsummit Flexible seating is the biggest change. My students have a lot of choices. When the kids are comfortable they work harder (or fall asleep 😉). Plus the technology was non- existent when I was a kid. Students teach me something new every week. It's great!
