@AbelardoAlmazan Are you willing to talk about how you approach consent before publishing student work/ correspondence w/you? Do you ask each time? Do Ss give blanket consent? Is consent not part of the equation b/c their names aren't attached? I often think about how I want to approach this.

@Zoyablooms Maybe a twist on the cooking convos? In the early 1980s, when the stigma around AIDS was high, my very in the box suburban mom began to cook for an AIDS hospice. She would bring us and it was such a lesson for me about compassion and community and ways to say FU Ronald Reagan.

The @collegeboard has bent to FL's institutional anti-Blackness, revising the curriculum to fit FL's demands. They will then pump millions of dollars into FL to host AP scoring in Tampa.

@Marishawkins This seems like an opportunity to critique textbooks with Ss. What/who seems to be valued? What kinds of images are used for which terms? Why do textbooks teach physical descriptions before personality descriptors?
