"Why do you care about the Boomers if you're not a Boomer?!"
Friendos, I care because I know what happened to the Kulaks.
A hundred years ago the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia didn't just target the Tsar, his family, and his officers. It went after *anybody* who smelled even a teensy bit wealthy. Especially the small but growing Russian middle class. Who were half a step out of serfdom because they'd managed to get a little land and therefore had a little capital.
The Bolsheviks hated the Kulaks even more than they hated the aristocracy, and the Kulaks were persecuted in their millions. Stripped of land. Sent to work camps. Or simply outright murdered by the NKVD, who were themselves the forerunners of the KGB.
You didn't have to be a Richie Rich to be labeled a Kulak. You simply had to be on the Reds' list as having property, therefore you were a traitor to the Soviet State.
So, when I see generational hatred directed against Boomers I know I am seeing the Kulakization of a class purely for the fact the Boomers are perceived as "haves" and angry Millennials and Gen Z perceive themselves as the "have nots" and people get themselves to a lather thinking maybe it's time for the "have nots" to settle the score.
A sentiment as old as recorded human civilization.
Except, it won't stop with Boomers. It never does. Who gets called a Kulak and why will be dumbed down again and again until it's Gen X, then Millennials, and then older Gen Z, and so forth.
This is the DSA's plan. Same as in any Marxist revolution. Turn the people who think they have little against those who are perceived to have much.
Notice that the DSA themselves—and their Big Corporate friends—will all remain affluent. Privileged. Set apart. They will only target the lower end of the Upper Middle, all of the Middle, and the upper end of the Lower classes. These will be the Kulaks. Until a permanent elite of AOC, Mamdani, et al., rule a sea of Lower class labor who have no ladders up, and are totally dependent on the caps-s State for food, housing, clothing, amenities, etc.. Ergo, America will be a nation of true Proles.
And any time the Proles begin to figure out they've been had—that the AOCs of the world have made it impossible to move up or get out—the DSA will crank up the alert siren against Kulaks all over again. New lists of enemies will be invented. As has happened in every single caps-s Statist collective of the past 150 years.
As Americans we have an opportunity to *not* do this.
But it has to start NOW. We *cannot* indulge in Kulakization.
Because you, friendo, are going to end up on the lists sooner or later. Even if you think you never will. Just give the DSA enough time. And no, the fact you were a good Party Man won't save you. The State is not a respecter of persons, comrade.
@DumasAlexandria@TJandCasper I was raised by survivors of the Great Depression to work hard and save for a rainy day. No take out or Door Dash. I doubt any of the whiners even know what I'm talking about.
What a delusional take from an absolute idiot, preaching from his ivory tower.
You didn’t “pay into” a retirement account. The government put a gun to your paycheck for 40 years, spent the money, and handed you an IOU. Calling the people who got robbed “thieves” because they want the check they were promised is moral cosplay from a guy who will never miss a meal if Social Security vanishes tomorrow.
Nobody opted into this. You couldn’t. Your generation didn’t invent it, and the one real chance to let younger workers out — Bush’s partial privatization — got killed while the checks kept coming. That’s on Congress, not on the carpenter who had FICA yanked out of every stub since he was 18.
Young people are not being specially punished. They’re stuck in the same mandatory racket. The fix is to stop forcing new workers into it and let them keep their own money. It is not to tell people who already paid for decades, with no opt-out and no refund, to go die quietly so a podcast host can feel principled. You want restitution from the people who spent it. Walsh wants a sacrifice from the people who already made it.
Go pound sand dude.
@anon2176@RoweBarowe2@TrumpDailyPosts Looks like I hit a nerve. Not a boomer. Just being fair. Not everyone falls into the same bucket, and you have to do some real research to see who actually did the things you're highlighting. Color you green. Now leave me alone please.
@MJB7033 @PatriotWatch12 Civil society - something I used to take for granted in the United States. Can't blame it all on illegals as many are native Americans being uncivil. Insane.
