Charlotte had a great day today at @HockeyHarrogate. Came home buzzing with lots of new skills to try out. @MaddieHinch and @mh1_coaching inspiring the next generation.
@carlfhoward @langcatlocke Because I learned to touch type on a typewriter and it's the way it was taught. It's a habit that's hard to break. Also, fun fact, double tapping the space bar puts a full stop in for you automatically.
@sharrond62 British cycling has 10s of 1000s of grass roots members as well as affiliated cycling clubs. Participation for all. Not competing in the women's class for all. I will be cancelling my membership and so should everyone else.
@DavidPenneyPRW I really don't get it either. In the last 2 years Harrogate has had 40,617 confirmed cases. It only has a population of 75k. Even without adding in people who didn't get a PCR test that's well over 50%
@zarahsultana Isn't it the case that the working, working class will get most of the £20 a week back from next month when the new taper comes into effect. Encourage people back into work, to work more hours and keep more of their earnings. A good thing, no?
@reneenicolegray @Nicks2007mom @MrsTthinks @KateBurkeNHS They can put you to sleep if necessary; in most cases it is not necessary and most women would choose to be awake. I am certainly not traumatized after being awake for 2 C-sections.
@BrettMendoza_@UKHospKate@scullyp@CampaignforPubs@ProtectPubs@Caxton_Arms This seems absolutely bonkers. Their argument of 'air cannot flow' suggests that your garden should be deemed a confined space and require a permit to enter because it has inadequate air flow to guarantee a breathable atmosphere. I hereby condemn your garden forever.
@carlfhoward It's absolutely comical and very short-sighted. Making this road one way would in my opinion hugely improve safety at school start and finish times. That parents might choose to drop their kids off a bit further away and let them walk the last 500m or so an added bonus.
Today I can announce the Government dropped the substantial meal requirement in their recent roadmap as a result of our court case.
Judges in our case ruled the measure was arguably discriminatory towards certain sections of society.
This is a landmark victory for hospitality.
