Bear has always been a joy for those around him, but now he’s in pain after a tumor developed from a simple scratch. We need help to cover his urgent surgery. Please share and consider contributing to give Bear his happiness back. Thank you! [heart] https://t.co/e4Cl1u0CRp

@leahfrombklyn I wish my building would give me physical keys but the whole building was fobs when I moved in

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@ThePrimeagen @mattpocockuk When all you’ve got is a hammer everything looks like a nail

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@mmkalmmkal @nicocerdeira @webflow Have you got a favorite?

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@mysysters @Autumn808 Offering “coaching” ignores why diversity doesn’t exist. Diverse candidates don’t need to be coached on how to fit into a box, they need companies to recognize that candidates have business value independent of cultural biases

[Julien @JulienMellon]

This was an expensive way to discover that people only RESPECT what you INSPECT

[Josh Pigford @Shpigford]

tl;dr We paid a designer ~$70,000 to create some 14,000 stock market icons for us (think AAPL, VTI, SPY, etc). We've only received ~1,500 of them and he's now ghosting us.

Buckle up...here's how that played out and where we're at now...

@DorianDevelops Is there something wrong with going backticks all day?

Asking for a friend

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@ParissAthena The placement bothers me. This feels like sitting next to me on the train when the rest of the car is empty

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@ParissAthena The center section would be the overlapping section and it would probably have shapes with a right angle AND two sides of equal length

I’m going with answer A, which doesn’t talk about both conditions, but describes a condition all the shapes will have in the center area

@marciac95_ It’s not a theory. It’s literally the experience of black people in America. And it’s not just rent, it’s all sorts of financial exclusion. Redlining, mortgage discrimination, insurance, biased home appraisal and it goes on and on…

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@AdamRackis I don’t see why knowing how to build a computer from scratch with logic gates made from electrical relays somehow makes people more qualified to work in the industry

Solved another LeetCode Medium in JavaScript!

Ok i brute forced it but hey i used the pythagorean theorem so I'm calling it a win

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@jamesqquick I can implement a linked list right now. It’s just a tree with no branches. I think of it like bamboo

[Tanay Jaipuria @tanayj]

Wow Klarna's AI customer support agent is able to handle 2/3rd of the requests by itself in its first month and is doing the job of an equivalent of 700 agents.

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@mariannwolfebe1 @realgirl_fieri “Living the dream” refers to living the realities that came with the dream that came true, like getting that career you always wanted and a home by the beach but now you work 14 hours a day for 28/31 days each month, your boss is abusive, and you still don’t earn enough.

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@GretSeatDev This personal project started with a curiosity about using a popular-in-my-job-market stack built on Python libraries like pandas and mathplotlib so I suppose I’m just peering down a rabbit hole but maybe React D3 might be easier for me considering JS is my first language

[Julien @JulienMellon]

Spinning up a project with Flask and umm it seems I’m going to need to learn a new html templating engine. I’ve done stuff with ejs and handlebars… What do y’all think? Django? Jinja?

[Julien @JulienMellon]

@EmmettNaughton

@haglwithcasey @Casey Someone please develop a Vision extension that detects all the advertisements on screens I see every day in Times Square and replaces them with photos of my family.

[Wes Bos @wesbos]

Damn! How did I not know about this VS Code feature earlier?
