I gave in with Astarion, he killed me, had the guts to say in the morning "something terrible happened" in front of my dead BG3self body. Luckily Gale still had a revival scroll/thing and I came back to life, I went straight up to Astarion and punched him in the face, felt good
story of my life
> gets BG3 for Astarion
> is about to kick Astarion out of the party, he's getting on my nerves with his attitude
WHERE'S THE SPICINESS?? HUH???
RE4 remake was fun, until it wasn't. I never had Leon dying, but Ashley comes along suddenly Leon dies, mission failed. ASHLEY FOR CHRIST SAKE JUST HIDE AWAY UNTIL LEON CLEARS THE ROOM STOP BEING KIDNAPPED OR INCAPACITATED WHILE I'M SURROUNDED BY ENEMIES AND I CAN'T HELP YOU
RE6, Chris had to go through it all again, Piers gave him strength, then he sacrificed himself for Chris. Those two had a bromance going on like
Piers: close your eyes bro
Chris: ok bro
Piers: wat u see bro
Chris: nothin bro
Piers: that's my world without you bro
Chris: bro...
I got the feeling RE6 lost completely the horror element, it felt like playing an action survival, reminded me of the kind of gameplay in TRL, especially while playing with Ada, which was fun actually and tbh the best version of Ada I saw so far, I love her witty comments
I love Leon, I do especially in RE2/RE4 remakes (baby rookie Leon I will protect you always) but, after playing RE6 then RE7 and RE8 in particular, I can say that Chris Redfield aged better than Leon Kennedy, they did him kinda dirty in RE6 with that emo half life crisis
RE7 but especially RE8 are peak Chris character design and in game model, also his personality, kinda between being a dick, handsome and charismatic he's just *chef's kiss* perfection
Leon Kennedy entered his emo era in RE6, he was sweet rookie 90's heartthrobe in RE2, then cool badass protective condor one in RE4, then he went through an half life crisis in RE6 and entered his emo phase
(mind you that by RE2 and RE4 I mean the remakes)
I managed to make it not without risking a fuckin heartache, I don't have the age anymore. But as soon as I got in the elevator I sighed in relief. Scariest gaming experience so far tbh
reporting live from House Beneviento: I'm scared, I want to get out of here asap, I miss Castel Dimitrescu. I have anxiety over the baby appearing at any time, somebody come save me, it's a fever nightmare
last report: the baby's here, I'm completely frozen and locked Ethan in a wardrobe and I don't have the guts to open the door I'm too fuckin scared. SHIT that's why I didn't want to play Village
even tho the worse part to me is Heisenberg with those crazy soldiers (but damn, he's voiced by Neil Newbon I'm.. that man is so good at his job) overall so far I had fun anyway, just Castel Dimitrescu got me so intrigued and focused I called it a day at 4 am 🙃
my first few moments of gameplay were hell, with the Lycans coming and coming and coming, it was scripted but it was scary damn. Now I got in and out of Castel Dimitrescu (with sadness in my heart) alive, now I'm at the Beneviento house and I know it's gonna be a nightmare
I finished RE7, it was amazing, now I would go against what I sworn, but I an tempted to play RE8 myself, I saw the whole gameplay when it came out, some parts really spooked me out, but played first hand it might be different. Bring the BIG Lady, I'm ready to smack her arse
