@activetraveleng@simonlightwood This certainly does not apply at The Wrekin - a pointless and dangerous system for all. Not to mention expensive and greatly enlarging the carbon footprints of all who are forced to travel round it. Well over 1,000,000 wasted miles - how does this fit with ideal?
@activetraveleng Well make sure you send a copy to @TelfordWrekin ! The one way system at The Wrekin was put in with no proper consultation at all! A pointless and dangerous system which has resulted in excess of 1,000,000 wasted miles travelled!#removeonewayatthewrekin
@PaulBrandITV@GeraintITV@ITVTonight Very disappointing that this program mainly concentrated on cyclists in London. When is episode two? - when you look at the rest of the country? Well done for at least mentioning horseriders. You failed to mention how many horse riders died or were seriously injured?

@TelfordWrekin@Cllrldcarter#ThrowbackThursday lots of space for all road users and plenty of room to pass parked cars safely. Just double yellow lines needed here. Your Β£70k could have been so much better spent π.
@GMB@NickDixonITV The new rules also include Horse riders- you seemed to have completely forgotten these vulnerable road users? I gather the report is to make people aware of the changes? So please report it properly
@WestMerciaPCC @JohnPaulCampion @KMinsterCops@WMerciaPolice When are @WestMerciaPCC as a rural force also going to be concerned with the safety of horse riders? Never see any posts - many other forces are much more proactive?
@TelfordCops The one way system now forces hundreds more vehicles down Ercall Lane every day. Whereas previously it was quiet. This includes farm machinery and hgvs! This truck took a wrong turn off the M54 but had no choice but to go down Ercall Lane.
@TelfordCops How is encouraging people to walk in the highway, on a road with a massively increased volume of traffic due to the one way system, with a speed limit that is unenforceable due to the lack of street furniture by @TelfordWrekin, allegedly much safer?
@Road_Safety_GB We have a problem with speeding on rural roads. Despite a reduction in speed limits, enforcement is not possible as @TelfordWrekin haven't put in the correct street furniture.
@TelfordWrekin My carbon footprint has been massively increased by the pointless and dangerous one way system at the Wrekin! So no amount of recycling is going to fix that is it?
@TelfordWrekin@Mossy_Life @CarolynHealy Get rid of the POINTLESS and DANGEROUS one way system at The Wrekin. Local residents have travelled hundreds of extra miles in the last year! Our carbon footprints have all increased in a year when we haven't been going out!!
